Christmas, New Year, and first OB

so christmas was good. we had christmas eve with the spencers and christmas day with the wines. it was fun to watch all the kids open their cool presents. i got everything that i wanted for christmas. i bought new sheets and pillow cases to go with my new cool bedding. I uploaded songs to my mp3 player and one day i will motivate myself to start going to the gym and walking a little bit. i believe that my husband had a good christmas too. the baby now has its first burberry bear. i will have to collect them for years to come. friday i got the baby its first blanket and it is super cute. i am anxiously awaiting our first ob appointment. i am not sure what all they will do but i cant wait. we are going to our friends house for new years eve and i think that will be fun too.

as far as today i have been super emotional. it is just not a good day i guess. i am getting better things that just set me off. but as i am told that comes with the pregnancy bliss.

My first NFL game

We got up at 745 saturday finished getting around and dropped the dog off at our friends house. we got to the great mall about noon and walked around for a little bit then headed over to legends mall where we walked around and froze our butts off. The baby got its first taste of chipolte which i could not eat much of but it was good. then we headed to our hotel. Once i got us checked in and in our room we both took a well needed nap. we got up and around and headed to the amerastarr and ate at the buffett. for the first time in 8 years i ate more than robert. he will tell you that he didnt feel good and that is why he didnt eat much but dont listen. we lost twenty dollars gambling my first time ever but it was fun. then we headed back to the hotel to relax and hang out. sunday we got up about nine and got around, packed, and headed out. we stopped and got us some breakfast before heading to the game. i had on enough layers to clothe like three people..lol. but the point was to be warm and warm i was until the end of the second quarter then nothing i had on was standing up to the wind. we left with about 8 or so minutes left in the third quarter. of course rob had to listen to the game on the way home which was fine with me. i am just glad the dolphins won. it was worth the cold for a couple hours for my husband to get what he wanted for christmas. i made sure to keep my belly as warm as possible for the baby. i have felt pretty good all weekend and today which is a good thing. i am ready for our first ob appointment. we should be able to hear the heartbeat. well happy monday to all.

Glad it is the weekend!!!

so rob and i are heading to kc for the weekend tomorrow morning. i cant wait to get out of town and spend time with just my husband. i will be freezing my butt off on sunday at the game though, but it will be worth it to see my husband smile as he watching his team up close and personal. i have packed like two shirts sweatshirt and coat, with jeans long johns, two pairs of socks, toe warmers, four blankets, so hopefully me and the baby will be warm...haha rob should be warm too. since i have become pregnant i am more and more easily triggered by things. today was a good day, i just make sure i eat small meals instead of big meals and drink plenty of water. i hope that everyone reading this has a good weekend. and hope everyone is ready for christmas and new years.

one week from christmas

I keep thinking about how this time next year i will be getting ready for my baby's first christmas. i know i know we have not even made it this years christmas. i just cant believe i am actually pregnant and that i am gonna be the momma of my own little boy or girl. Robert has two kids with his ex wife who i love like my own, and consider my own, but this who baby process will be so differently amazing to me. i just cant wait. i told a lady today that my stomach was really tight and she told me that i either had gas or was growing twins. she is a funny lady. well i just thought i would put a post on here. this girl is off to take her prenatal and go to bed.

Another day minus puking

So we woke up to three inches of snow last night and into today..YAY wichita. Today was one of my better days. I didnt feel completely pukey all day. Of course i did bring me some snacks to work so i could eat every few hours and not pig out at lunch or atleast tempt too. Our poor baby looks kinda like an alien lol. Tonight i am just gonna relax and eat my chicken and dumplings that my husband so nicely made for me. Sorry for a short post today i dont have much on my mind!! Have a good night all!!

So today was an ok day. I started my prenatals last night and woke up this am feeling better than i have most mornings. The up and down of the stairs kinda made me queasy but i managed. I came home today and ate veggies cuz that was what i was craving. I bought the what to expect when expecting book to read while i am pregnant. I am now thinking i am not sure it was a good idea cuz everything i read whether good or bad i wonder if that will be me. So i have to keep telling myself that they are just telling me what might happen or what can happend but not in everyone.

I am just excited that i get to share this experience with so many people. My baby sister is about two and 1/2 months ahead of me, my cousin is about three and 1/2 months ahead of me, my friend deb is about two weeks ahead of me. it is great to be able to give each other advice and keep each other strong.

The start of our next chapter!!!

Well we found out this week we will be having a baby. We are so excited!! All of our family and friends are super excited too. Our calculated due date is July 31, 2008. So far i have felt nauseated alot. I have figured out the point i can eat too before it is too much for me.

Our first OB appointment if december 31st HAPPY NEW YEAR to us.
